About Swinging for Power by Dennis Pierce
Parker Hanson is a small-time private investigator who used to be a journalist. His biggest cases so far have involved tracking down lost relatives or proving infidelity. So when Parker suspects the governor of New Hampshire might be involved in a double murder, does he have what it takes to compete in the big leagues?
To prove his suspicions, Parker will need every ounce of courage and guile he possesses—not to mention the help of his ex-Army Ranger neighbor, Amalia Velasquez. But navigating a treacherous web of deceit and power dynamics won’t be easy. When you’re swinging for the governor, you’d better not miss.
