Interview With Author Tammy Aiken
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a cookbook author I write cookbooks for people who have celiac disease or just are gluten sensitive. I am an author who really wants to make a difference. I have written eight new cookbooks. I have six of them that are gluten free cookbooks, two that are not.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Kids gluten free Christmas cookbook this inspired me because I want to see kids enjoy there Holidays. Kids can also get creative in the kitchen and make their own desserts with their family.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
A cup of water on the right side of me at all times and my phone on the left side of me.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Alex Guarnaschelli she is an amazing author and chef she has really inspired me. I love the way she puts herself out there!
What are you working on now?
I am working on two more gluten free cookbooks.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes, check the publishing companies and make sure they are legit. Take your time writing and do not get over whelmed.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t give up on writing your cookbooks even though you were scammed just keep going and reach for your dream.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Trying to get on Food Network to really get my recipes out there to help so many more people.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
