Interview With Author Tammy Aiken
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a cookbook author. I wrote 12 cookbooks. A couple of years ago I started writing gluten free cookbooks, I have 6 gluten free cookbooks. I have I have a family member with celiac disease and saw what she was going through eating desserts that were not gluten free. I decided to write gluten free cookbooks to help so many.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Gluten Free Homemade Candy-This homemade candy is my inspiration, everyone that has a sweet tooth and wants a good homemade candy. Now people with celiac disease can have a sweet and indulge in homemade gluten free candy with no worries.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I always have my water on my left and my phone on the right of me, Having my music blasting.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Alex Guarnaschelli I love her she really put her self out there and her books are great.
What are you working on now?
I am working on 2 more gluten free cookbooks.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Be careful of scammers
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
My mom told me to never give up on my cookbooks before she passed

What’s next for you as a writer?
To try to get on Food Network to show the world how I can help so many more people with celiac disease.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
