Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a new author, so this was my first book.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Sound of Faith: Hearing the Whisper of God.
Honestly, I have never thought of myself as a writer, but after years of being taught one way of thinking, I stepped away to allow God to do the teaching. With this being said, I have learned what it truly means to have faith. My life has changed since then and because of that, I wanted to help others gain a new perspective. I started serving in the ministry back in early 2003. As time progressed, I felt I was missing something in my relationship with God. It was easy to get mad at Him for the simplest things, but I felt getting mad wouldn’t change the situation. I began to question if I should be mad at myself? I won’t say I am perfect and have learned everything, but I felt compelled to start writing to help others break away from traditional thinking and build a relationship with God on a personal level, like I did.
