About Tethered to Shame by Judy Hudson
Counselor Dana Jordan is haunted by an assault and the painful choice to relinquish her only child at birth.
She avoids her anguish while she helps others find self-acceptance and healing, but when the women in her therapy group dig deeper into their wounds and trauma, she is forced to confront her own demons.
The power of healing through the wisdom of sisterhood come together as they find truth and hope. What happened to her daughter? Will Dana get one more chance for redemption or will it cost her the very thing she desires most?

Author Bio:
Getting to do what you love ranks right up there with line dancing in my mind. I read many genres, but I love to write about courageous 'overcomers.'
In my previous career as a Clinical Social Worker, I was privileged to walk alongside people as they confronted their demons. Humbled by their courage, amazed at what creative, adaptive ways they found to approach life, I wanted to honor them by writing about the courage of fictional characters.
So in retirement, I write fiction and line dance, read and garden, travel every chance I get—all the while studying and admiring people who just might inspire a character in one of my new books.
Rural southwest Idaho is home to me where I delight in the beauty of God’s creation.
