Hey there, I’m Julia, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you! After spending nearly 20 years climbing the corporate ladder, I hit a wall. I had become conditioned to think that in order to be happy and successful, I had to be busy. My mind was constantly thinking about what was next, what else can I do? Rarely did I stop to actually enjoy life, always too stressed to live in the present moment.
I needed a change, and I needed it fast. Never one to do something half-heartedly, I decided to quit my job cold turkey. I know, it sounds crazy. But trust me, it was the best decision I ever made. It forced me to slow down and re-evaluate my priorities in life. And that’s when I began to experience the beauty and the art of mindful laziness.
This mindset shift has been life changing for me. It’s allowed me to redefine how I see productivity, relaxation, and success. I no longer feel the need to maintain a never ending To-Do list, instead, I spend my days slowing down, being present, and savoring life’s simple pleasures.
