About The Burning Sword
Everyone is telling Jack that his father is dead. He doesn’t believe them.
His whole world is about to be turned upside down.
When Jackson Bell’s father is swept away during a fishing trip, only Jackson believes he is still alive. Strange dreams and the discovery of an ancient amulet lead him to a mythical norse land in search of his father.
Jackson soon finds out that he is the last of a line of formidable swordsmen. Along with the warrior princess Freyja, he must rescue her kidnapped sister and prevent an ancient curse from being released, and help restore peace and order to the land of Orcadia.
Will Jackson find his father and return home, or will the scheming Prince Baldur scupper his quest?

Author Bio:
I was born and still live in the Black Country in England, with my wife and re-homed greyhound.
From a very early age, I have written stories, much to the frustration, I am sure, of my English teachers. I have always had a fascination for British and Norse folktales and myths, which is where much of my inspiration is drawn from.
The Burning Sword, part one in The Orcadian series, is my first published children's novel and I am currently working on the second part of the series.
