Author Bio:
My name is Maria D. Georgiou. My father passed away when I was young, leaving a profound gap in my life. Growing up on a farm, I developed a love for animals, nature, and everyday people. I hold fond memories of my childhood, which I consider the foundation of a balanced life. My two children are now growing up in the city—a place I find both fascinating and complex.
I was fortunate to have excellent teachers who taught me to appreciate myself, along with my mistakes. Although I studied journalism, my greatest passion is history. Alongside my husband and children, I have traveled extensively, gaining an education that surpasses even the best universities. My life motto is inspired by the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle: “To train the mind without training the heart is worthless.”
