In the vibrant city of Shreveport, Louisiana, Eddie's journey began. A bright and ambitious student, he graduated with honors from Booker T Washington High School in 1998, setting the stage for an extraordinary career. His zeal for sports and education led him to Northwestern State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health with honors in 2003, followed by a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2019.
Eddie's coaching career is a chronicle of extraordinary achievements. As a head basketball coach, he steered his teams to multiple district championships and runner-up titles, alongside notable quarter-final appearances. His strategic brilliance earned him numerous accolades, including being named District Coach of the Year multiple times and receiving the Louisiana Motor Coach of the Month Award from the New Orleans Pelicans.
In addition to his head coaching roles, Eddie's influence extended to assistant coaching positions, where he continued to leave a significant mark. Since 2023, he has been an integral part of the Centenary College of Louisiana’s coaching staff, bringing his unparalleled experience and insights.
Eddie’s role in the coaching world transcends the boundaries of the basketball court.
