About The Code of Survival Book One: Arizona
What if the apocalypse came in the form of a Role-Playing Game? In a near-future world where an all-powerful program known as The System has suddenly overhauled reality, a family struggles to survive.
The story follows Lee, a software engineer, his son Jak (an audio engineer) and his daughter Marie (a brilliant biophysicist and archaeologist.)
As their world transforms into a dystopian LitRPG landscape, Lee and Jak must navigate the chaos of an apocalyptic Phoenix to reunite with Marie in Albuquerque.
They encounter new allies, formidable enemies, and uncover hidden truths about The System to not just survive but master their new reality.

Author Bio:
I was born in California but moved around growing up as a military brat. I joined the Navy at seventeen to learn electronics. My first ship was the Battleship New Jersey (BB-62). On my second ship, The USS Prairie (AD-15) I was deployed to the Persian Gulf for what was later called The First Gulf War.
After that experience, I was assigned “shore duty” in San Diego. While working part-time at Domino’s Pizza as a delivery driver to make extra money I was hit by a drunk driver, which ended my naval career. Don’t fret though, if you keep a positive attitude things have a way of working out. I got an awesome job at Intel Corporation and moved up to the Bay area.
Fast forward fifteen years and me, my ex-wife, and our kids moved to Arizona, where I worked several jobs including teaching computer certifications. Currently I am a Senior Network Engineer and enjoy my job. Recently I felt the need to fulfill a dream I’ve always had of writing, and, well, here we are!
