This magical tale for young children transports us to Gnomesville. Everything here is red, blue, or yellow – until, one day, the gnomes are invited to a color-mixing party! Children will love journeying with the gnomes to the magical tree, who teaches them how to make all the colors of the rainbow.
But the gnomes’ dreams don’t stop there – they want to dance, make music, skip, paint, and kayak. Along with the gnomes, children will learn that getting better at a skill requires hard work and self-belief.
The Color Gnomes and the Magical Tree serves as the perfect introduction to mixing primary colors. Written by an educator, the book also supports goal setting, and can be used to encourage children to work hard toward their New Year’s Resolutions. The story closes as the gnomes go to sleep, making this an ideal bedtime story to inspire dreams of the following day’s adventures.
