Led by Winnie’s thirst for excitement and fueled by her side pack of herbs, the duo team up to save Gil’s little brother. They’ll have to escape prairie dog tunnels, outsmart the farmer and survive a trip to the county fair. Along the way, they unravel a mystery that just might save Gil’s brother and help the farmer win over the irrepressible Veronica Able.

Kellie Pettyjohn operates an organic vegetable farm called The Wily Carrot in the beautiful Mancos Valley in Southwest Colorado. She dreamed up The Daring Rescue of Bodhi the Crow while watching the animals flit about her while out in the fields. In her previous lives, she was a homeland security consultant, alligator wrangler and Antarctic janitor. Although her curiosity has often landed her in trouble, she tries to let it steer her path through this bizarre and wondrous world.
