A Captain on a mission to save a Martian colony. A creature that shouldn’t exist. A hostile planet that offers no escape.
The year is 2187. Pitt Kowalski, Captain of the Chariot, and his crew, are flying through space to return to their home base on the Moon after completing a fateful mission. Along the way, he receives orders for a new assignment to redirect the ship to Mars, and head to the surface with a special team. Violent deaths have been reported in Ares City, the main colony, and all radio contact has been lost.
His orders are clear: find out what is happening, prevent more deaths, and save the surviving colonists.
But once Pitt realizes what he’s up against, it’s almost too late—for the colonists, for him, and for Zelinda Moretti, an Earthling that stirs up feelings within him unlike any he has ever had before.
Now, they must all fight for their lives. Can Pitt and the team save the colonists—and themselves?

Author Bio:
Armin Weber has been writing science fiction novels for years. As a child of the 1960s, he was amazed by Star Trek and other science fictions shows of the early 1970s. Since then, the fascination for science fiction has never disappeared.
His novels, which have been published in Germany to date, fluctuate between science fiction thrillers and military science fiction. The stories focus on the effects of technical and social progress on people.
His novels create an atmosphere of tension and fascination. Or, as Weber says: “Where it is not suspenseful, it must at least be interesting; and where it is interesting, it can still be suspenseful. That has always been my claim and it remains so to this day. The only story worth reading is a suspenseful story.”
Weber’s first novel to be translated to English is The Kowalski Protocol: Death Feature. More books in English are to follow soon.
