Shamiso Mlilo Lezard was born and raised in the city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Faith in God and family are the most important
things to her. You will always find her spending time with the people she loves most, or participating in one entertaining activity or
another. She is an avid writer and hones her craft as a Social Media Journalist.
She also has a really keen interest in the culinary arts…because food is happiness.
Shamiso’s debut Women’s Crime Fiction novel, The Lost Cantrell, was released on August 3rd, 2022 with The Wild Rose Press and her poem, “I Saw An Ad Today,” will be published in the University of Indiana’s press journal, The Global South, Edition 16.1.
