About The Other Side of the Looking-Glass
In the poignant coming-of-age tale, The Other Side of the Looking-Glass, follow the tumultuous journey of Naomi Nakano, a fifteen-year-old girl yearning for love and belonging. With her birth mother deceased, her birth father neglectful, and her guardian, Matt, unconventional, life isn’t exactly ordinary for Naomi.
When she moves to a new town, Naomi finally discovers the beauty of real friendships and the warmth of acceptance. But what truly lights up her world is none other than her friend’s charismatic older brother, Wren. At twenty-five, he showers her with attention and praise, and Naomi can’t help but bask in the glow of his compliments even if their relationship must remain a secret.
As Naomi becomes intoxicated by Wren’s affection, she becomes oblivious to the web of deceit that threatens to unravel her newfound sense of normalcy. Each lie she tells puts not only her relationship with Wren at risk, but also her own identity at risk as well. Now, Naomi must find the strength to protect her secret while facing a relentless stream of challenges, all in a desperate attempt to save the life she’s built.
The Other Side of the Looking-Glass is a gripping exploration of love, deception, and the struggle to stay true to oneself. Join Naomi on an emotional rollercoaster as she fights to hold onto the delicate threads of her existence.
