Warning: The following statement could cause hair loss, whining, howling…. heck possibly even biting. To the casual and potentially pacified reader of modern times reading these words – TURN BACK NOW!
– Imagine a time when the hairy dude covered in battle scars came home from killing monsters to be greeted by eight or nine or even more children, even as his two or three adoring wives came up to him with tears of happiness at his safe return because their man against all the odds had managed to survive and come home to them. Imagine how it felt for this man of ancient times past as he was dragged by his jubilant children and his giggling wives, whispering spicy promises into his ears, into the humble abode that he had made with his own hands in between killing monsters, farming the land and breeding his wives with great passion. Suffice it to say that by the end of the week, his children had all gone fishing with him more than once and had learned many valuable life skills, even as their mothers toiled away contently humming festively as they made great-tasting food and washed their mate’s gore-splattered clothes, even as they shifted back and forth on their bare feet to account for the soreness between their thighs, which they all longed to experience the source of all over again come nightfall. As the last candle was extinguished for the night peace like a river ran down over the little farm where the warrior lay his head to rest. No monsters dared enter his home for he had slain them all. His children slept in peace dreaming of pleasant things, even as his wives screamed with pleasure, because of what he did to them. Happily ever after they lived entirely content with all that a benevolent Creator had given them. Such a time within mankind was long long ago now, but I like writing about such times just the same. Who knows, as monsters rise and weak men make hard times, perhaps those hardened warriors of old will become once again the ones most revered of all who walk among men.
Writer of Harem Stories for Men (and women too!)
I’ve been a writer for over a decade in a wide range of genres under different pen names, but recently I’ve decided to concentrate all my literary efforts into a new pen-name venture headed up as Nolan Zaren. These days I just find the only stories I’m interested in writing are the ones that can be best summarized within the broad genre of HaremLit. Whether it’s Cozy Slice of Life stories or Immersive Fantasy Hero Quests slaying monsters and rescuing maidens to be added to the Harem – that’s the kind of fiction I’m both interested in reading and writing.
My writing takes a different approach than many within the genre. While my books contain ‘magic’ as it were I do so from more of a religious (Biblical) inspired worldview than a sword & sorcery or dungeon & dragons inspired one. In a way, I substitute the fantasized System utilized so prevalently within LitRPG books and substitute it for the System that in a way I see all of us already living in and in a way fighting against in order to live freely. You’ll have to read some of my work to see what I mean by this.
I don’t just write adventures focused on sex with multiple women by one male protagonist – I write a complete story that has all the hopes and despairs of various characters within the story fully displayed in an Ensemble style of manner, wherein you get the perspective from multiple points of story character view. You see the struggles and triumphs of not just the main character, but of the others in the story as well. My goal is to make the story as real as possible, because really what other kind of story does anyone want to read?
I write the whole story and my name is Nolan Zaren and I invite you to check out my speculative adventure fiction.
