About The Problem with Love Potions
Alice Balfour is just an average witch, trying to get her soul mate to fall in love with her. Every day, she happily goes about minding her own business, tending to her coffee shop, avoiding her batty aunts, and loving her magical harbor town of Lantern Lane. Until her world literally shakes.
Theo Parker is new in town for a reason. A small town means fewer people – more specifically, fewer women. But from the moment Theo rolls into town, a beautiful woman begins haunting his days and his dreams.
Drawn together by unexplained powers (and delicious fall lattes), both Alice and Theo have to face the facts. Theo can’t deny his attraction or the fireworks he feels when he’s around Alice, and Alice has to do something about her family curse before it’s too late.
With the Fall Festival approaching and her time running out, Alice has to make a decision. And with the curse looming over her head and strikingly handsome Theo Parker still avoiding her, a love potion seems like her only option.
Of course, she doesn’t try to give the love potion intended for Theo to everybody who drinks her apple cider at the Fall Festival, but she does. So, now Alice needs to avoid the townspeople of Lantern Lane and get Theo to fall in love before it’s too late.

Author Bio:
Hi, I’m Katie. Writer and lover of all things romance!
Here are a few highlights about me:
I’m the author of contemporary and sweet romance novels.
I have a reading obsession that can’t be cured.
I binge bake on the weekends.
I pretend to be Joanna Gaines when I decorate.
I think my husband is basically straight out of a romance novel.
I think my son and golden retriever are immeasurably adorable.
I have a passion for mid-day napping (though this one rarely happens).
We should be best friends! (Just kidding…but also, not really kidding).
Growing up, aside from English being the only class I was good at, and writing my life story in journals, I didn’t stumble upon my career as an author until ten years ago.
Long story short: I went through a breakup and read every romance novel I possibly could. Then I found mysteries, thrillers, and fantasies until those ran out. And one day, I walked into Barnes and Noble and realized I had read all of the books. Well, except for one. Writing Romance for Dummies. ’Twas then and there I wrote my first romance novel…and with heartfelt admittance…it really was for dummies.
Yup, you read that right.
Flash-forward ten years, and what has to be millions of words later, here I am today happily married with children in a beautiful suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m doing what I love as an author, and have a reading hobby that’s a required by-product of my job. I’m basically living the dream.
I’d love to hear all about you and your love of romance, too! What makes you pick up a book and not want to put it down? And who you are as an amazing, fascinating person?
(Yes, locking yourself in your bathroom, away from your children, to eat cookies and read a chapter of the latest book you’re devouring just to escape makes you amazing and fascinating.)
If you’re up for it, I’d love to hear from you!
