Author Bio:
I hope you enjoy some of the tales found in my books. I have always enjoyed listening to and reading about adventures here in my home and in exotic places far away. I was born in Ireland to an Irish mother and an American father. My grandmother in Ireland was good at telling tall tales. She knew how to keep my attention as she animated some of her stories. As I grew up on and off, I would write down what I came across in my imagination. Never did I think of sharing them with others. They were mostly for my enjoyment. The years went by, and life happened. I had a son and then joined the Army. Then was stationed in North Carolina, where my daughter was born shortly after. We moved to West Germany and saw Berlin and the Wall before it came down. While there, I could revisit my grandmother in Ireland and, as a young man, explore more on my own.
After being discharged from the Army, I went to college and earned two degrees in Radiology. Later I worked for several years in a hospital environment before I was offered an excellent opportunity to work for a significant healthcare device manufacturer. This allowed me to travel to almost all fifty states, Europe, and Australia. Today I work for a local children’s hospital, returning to my old Radiology skills. The pace and schedule of my job now have allowed me to tinker with writing stories.
Once again, I hope you enjoy some of these tales.
