The Secrets of the Sorority Sisters by Annie Hudson
A Sisterhood of Secrets
Emma Anders Mountainside Bed and Breakfast serves up more than morning muffins, it has become ‘the’ destination for visitors of Boone, NC.
This time, they will host a reunion of the Kappa Boo Beta sorority sisters who plan to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Choosing Emma’s property was no coincidence. It seems the Johns family may have a hand in founding, financing and supporting the KBB.
Presided over by Sloane Reyes, a local celebrity, the ladies arrive to rekindle friendships and share in sisterhood, reliving their college years. As hidden truths come to light, chaos ensues.
Emma, her clue sniffing dog Lizzie and sleuthing buddy, Frances, are drawn into the chaos faster than you can say BOO!
Will they unravel the secret and solve the mysterious disappearance of one of the sisters before someone gets hurt or worse?
Uncle Preston’s friendly spirit will have a few things to say about this mess. After all, it is his family.
Join Emma on a journey of sisterhood, secrets and the supernatural in Secrets of the Sorority Sisters.

Author Bio:
Like many Cozy Mystery readers, Annie Hudson grew up reading Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys and watching Scooby Doo.
Annie feels that a Cozy Mystery is a fun, creative genre that invites many opportunities to include ‘real’ life places and ideas. The fictional characters often times include a simple human ‘flaw’ or quality that we all recognize in ourselves. She feels that what makes them magical is being able to incorporate a paranormal experience without graphic or scary details. Just a good clean read to clear the mind. Often you’ll hear her describe the genre as the “Hallmark” (like the movies) of reading.
You will sometimes find her enjoying art in the form of painting – mostly watercolor work of pets as a way to relax. And of course, reading. Some of her favorite authors include Dan Brown, Jodie Picoult, and David Baldacci.
She and her husband live in the piedmont region of North Carolina, about an hour from the Eastern Continental Divide. They have three adult children and love to travel. Recently enjoying Italy where they met the cover illustrator for “The Case of the Haunted Heirlooms”, “The Missing Masterpiece Murder”, “The Secrets of the Sorority Sisters” and the upcoming release of “The Greedy Ghost Hunting Guest”.
The couple has had 4 dogs in their 29 years of marriage, recently losing “Lizzie”, a whippet/pit mix rescue dog who is a big part of the character Emma Anders’ life. She brought joy instantly to any room she occupied.
Annie is deeply involved in creating a full six book series for Emma Anders. There are currently two books in the series, and a fourth will be launching in June 2024.
