Author Bio:
Riley Kendall is a Canadian police officer, a sketch artist and an author.
When Riley is not on duty, he runs his publishing firm and an employment agency for retired police officer with over 20 employees spread throughout the globe.
As a police officer, he has witnessed countless deaths and crumbling family dynamics. He has noticed that the worst sufferers, second to young children, continue to be widows or widowers, regardless of their age, in part due to lack of availability of supportive social networks, lack of family support, unfamiliarity with trauma coping mechanisms and poor financial planning.
Now he is embarking on a new course and adding another thread to his entrepreneurial skills, by writing books that are aimed at Widows and Widowers, providing them with the tools that they may need to move forward with their grief and take control of their lives.
Through his books he wants grieving persons to have the necessary tools required to deal with grief, feel proud and accomplished after completing the exercises and meditations in the book. It is his humble attempt that his books will commence a journey of healing for the reader.
In his free time, Riley enjoys watching movies, working out, spending time outdoors and volunteering. His volunteering spirit took him to Haiti during 2010 earthquakes as an aid worker and he continues to assist with online as well as offline fundraiser programs for victims of crime.
