About The Spy Who Loved Her by Eliza J McCormack
Jericho city’s walls gleam in the late afternoon sun, but behind the bricks, fear never sleeps. Thirteen year-old Rahab yearns to break free with her family from a place ruled by suspicion and cruelty.
Across the Jordan, the Israelite army waits, ready to bring the mighty city to its knees. When two secret agents cross paths with Rahab, she seizes upon a desperate plan to hide them. Although clearly attracted to her, Shalma realises there is no time for romance. Bound by their mutual pact, Rahab risks everything as she outwits their ruthless pursuers.
As the threat of a siege draws near, tensions and suspense rise as the evil king locks down the city. All escape routes are blocked.
In a world of betrayals and broken promises, Rahab discovers that freedom may demand the greatest sacrifice of all.

Author Bio:
Growing up I loved to write my dream of what I wanted my life to be like. Winning the national schools’ writing competition two years running spurred me on.
For many years, after I became an accomplished clarinetist, writing took a back seat which I didn’t take up again until after my children were born. Before my husband died, I’d written half a novel and several short stories which I may resurrect one day. For now I enjoy writing re-imagined bible stories, delving into the archaeology of the times those people lived in, and joining up the facts from their recorded stories. I love to weave fiction around the parts that are a blank in order to bring the characters and the stories to life.
When I am not writing, I enjoy walking around the beautiful countryside where I live, and spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
