Author Bio:
I was raised in the West Texas desert, spent my teen years in northern Alabama, graduated from Indiana University. I am a jack of all trades with wide-ranging interests. I worked on horse racetracks in Kentucky and Ohio in my early twenties.
I love to paint with oils and painters have a strong influence on my thought and writing. I enjoy exhibits and art museums.
Origins of The Summer Set: I had a dream about an Inuit seal carved from soapstone. The dream stayed with me and I wove it into this paranormal coming of age tale of greed, spiritual awakening and friendship.
The story is set in 1956 Eisenhower America with its backdrop of McCarthyism and conformity.
Though geared to mature young adults ages 11-17, the nostalgic novel is an interesting and fun read for all adults ages 18-68.
