About THE TIGHTROPE WALKER
What if you’re holding a ticket in your hand? Not to enter the circus, but to watch the one
you’re already in…
Explore a rich tapestry of philosophy, psychology, and self-discovery. And gain direct access
to the timeless wisdom of Rumi, the unmatched teacher of insight and healing.
Imagine a pair of glasses: put them on and see what you can no longer overlook – from the
manipulative language constantly exchanged, to the imposed self-images people silently
carry, and the sinister network controlling it all. You won’t be told a story; you’ll live it. As you
flip through the pages, you’ll be amazed at how your thoughts and emotions begin to evolve.
Here, a part of you stirs to life, one that has always felt and seen but never had a voice.
Now, it will. Many moments will resonate so deeply that you’ll find yourself saying, “Aha!”
Once you identify the circus, returning to your old role becomes impossible.
If you enjoyed The Power of Now, The Little Prince or The Alchemist, it’s time to experience
The Tightrope Walker.

Author Bio:
Sasan Habibvand is a philosopher, counsellor and scholar of Persian literature and
mysticism. Inspired by a blend of philosophical and psychological perspectives, Sasan offers
a thought-provoking perspective on human suffering, inner conflicts, and the journey towards
self-realisation. As a native Persian speaker, he brings uniquely direct and authentic access
to Rumi’s teachings, including Rumi’s profound view of the human condition and his healing
message of love and liberation.
Sasan’s philosophical works emphasise the profound connection between life philosophy
and human flourishing. In his debut novel, The Tightrope Walker, he presents this
relationship in a compelling and accessible narrative that intertwines psychological insight
with philosophical depth. What is delightfully fresh about Sasan’s voice is that it is enriched
by both Eastern and Western cultures. Living in Australia since 2011, Sasan has lived,
studied and taught across various cultural contexts, clearly reflected in the richness of his
writings. Sasan’s interdisciplinary education imparts a rare flavour of variety and depth to his
views and works.
His forthcoming English-language books include:
Through the Eyes of Rumi: An Introduction to Rumi’s Life, Thought and Teachings
The Alien Within: Talks on Meaning, Growth and Flourishing
From Pain to Liberation: Reflections on Self-Knowledge
The Puzzle of Happiness: A Fresh Inquiry into the Ways and Barriers of Authentic
and Lasting Happiness
