About The Watcher’s Lullaby by Pippa Harvey
Surrounded by the Suffolk countryside, Oak Tree Farm is shrouded in mystery about the misfortune of its earlier inhabitants.
In 1867, Maud, wife of a farming tenant, desperately seeks a remedy for post-natal depression, at a time when it is neither recognised nor understood.
In 2016, solicitor Bea uproots from London to the farm. Heavily pregnant, the move brings more challenges than she anticipates. Are the strange, unexplained incidents in the house imagined or communications from someone or something unable to rest?
A twist on a classic haunted house story, interlaced with themes of motherhood and mental health, The Watcher’s Lullaby is a psychological thriller told through the voices of Bea and Maud that will leave you listening intently to every noise at home…

Author Bio:
Hello! The Watcher’s Lullaby is my debut novel, triggered by a relatives’ strange experiences when they moved to a remote cottage in the countryside when I was a child.
I’ve always loved writing but put my story-telling on hold to pursue a career in Law, studying at Cambridge University and practising as a solicitor in London for almost ten years. I then had a family, retrained as a teacher, and rediscovered writing when I stopped teaching to spend time with my poorly dad.
I’m currently editing my second novel, and when I’m not glued to my laptop, I love to dance tango, read (especially Maggie O’Farrell and Kate Atkinson), exercise on the Peloton and have fun days out with my family and our Cavapoo pup, Luna.
Thanks for the interest!
