About The Wizard Without a Wand by Dale Stubbart
Schmedley Thrumbledack is on his way to Wizard School. Surprisingly, he got a full scholarship. It will pay for his tuition and his room and board. Shmedley knows more Wizard Math than most fourth years. When he says his last name, it sounds like thunder and lightning strikes somewhere nearby, but not too close.
Shmedley’s parents buy him his books, including Wand Making which isn’t even taught any more. Still, you have to have that book. His parents have purchased his ticket on the Wizard School Bus – the Train was too expensive.
There’s one last thing to buy – his Wand. But, his Parents are out of money and can’t afford to buy him one. How is Shmedley Thrumbledack supposed to attend Wizard School without a Wand? Yet, here he is on the Wizard School Bus, pouting because he doesn’t know what else to do.
