Ms. VanOtoo has led a diverse, rewarding career in the healthcare industry for more than two decades. Presently, she serves as one of Pennsylvania’s leading non-medical providers for home healthcare as well as founded Impactful Senior Home Care LLC and the owner of Angel On Guard LLC in Philadelphia and Florida, named thus as Ms. VanOtoo believes that one must never forget to respect one’s elders and her team of qualified caregivers are dedicated to providing quality, non- medical care to individuals so that patients can remain independent in their own homes.
Catering mostly to the disabled community, services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient, including respite, personal assistance services, residential habilitation services, community transition services and non-medical transportation. She sold her first company and looks to continue to not just operate home cares but sell them as well to corporations who are remarkable in the industry.
Ms. VanOtoo founded Sweetness of Faith Foundation, a charitable organization, in 2012. She chose this name for the organization because she believes that learning how to resolve conflicts creatively and non-violently and turning the other cheek if someone wrongs you is of the utmost importance and only then will one obtain the Sweetness of Faith. Additionally, Ms. VanOtoo has found success as an international celebrity pastry chef, life and health coach, model, actress, stylist, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and travel agent. Her decision to study food was primarily motivated by the need to ensure that her clients receive proper nutrition.
Garnering expertise in various areas of the industry throughout the course of her career, Ms. VanOtoo became well versed in direct care management, compliance policies, medical laws, and health care regulations. Securing numerous administrative and patient relation roles for several leading companies. She has also been active as a volunteer and management facilitator for the Alternatives to Violence Project, a conflict transformation program that offers various workshops to help people learn how to better deal with conflict.
She completed the medical office management program at the Thompson Institute in Philadelphia in 2000 and life and health coaching at Haverford College in 2015. Ms. VanOtoo (also known as Dr. Chef because her cheesecakes and pastries are like CPR) states that she is, “The Queen of sugar.” She is also certified as an international celebrity pastry chef, having graduated top of her class with honors from Augusta Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in 2019.
Looking ahead, Dr. Chef (Ms. VanOtoo.) plans to become an International Celebrity eight figure Author, speaking and coaching individuals around the world while publishing hundreds of best-selling books in a variety of categories.
