Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a wildland firefighter by trade by a life coach, NLP practitioner, fitness trainer, and writer by passion. After thirteen years on the fireline. I have decided to retire from the line to pursue my dreams as an author, mentor and business owner.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I just published Overcome Anxiety Like a Hero: Master Your Health, Connect with Your Inner Peace, and Summon Flow. After many years on the fireline, I started to develop anxiety when I was on the job. After one of best friends died suddenly, my entire life turned upside down with grief and illness. After overcoming severe anxiety, health challenges, I received a spiritual awakening during deep meditation. I will never the same person again. I am now on a mission to help people through life coaching, NLP, fitness training, and writing.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
During my fight with anxiety and health challenges, I started to become a hypochondriac. This still plays a small role when I am grocery shopping. I really get attached to reading all of the ingredients of everything I put on or in my body. Maybe a little obsessive but I feel so dang good all of the time now.
Also, I have struggled with sleep my entire life and I have good months and bad weeks sometimes still. So I listen I am an avid Coast to Coast AM listener and George Noory the host is one of my true heroes.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Steven Pressfield – The War of Art
Graham Hancock – Supernatural
Tom Brown Jr – Awakening Spirits

Dr. Matt James – Mental Emotional Release
What are you working on now?
I have 1 small book that I just published too. Called Internal Leadership
I have 2 more books with the editors that are a deep dive into spirituality and my experiences through my awakening process. I worked with my Chinese medicine doctor to write the entire book from inspirations during trance states.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Going to Self Publish school really gave me the advantage to learn every tiny detail when it comes to writing, publishing, and selling books. With the material and a coaching call every few weeks, the program really helped me.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write every day and make a ritual. Get Grammarly and find an amazing editor.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Follow your heart and listen to your gut even when your logical mind gives you a million excuses why you shouldn’t be happy.
What are you reading now?
The Prosperous Coach – Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin
Quantum Consciousness – Peter Smith
What’s next for you as a writer?
I am looking to team up with the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and start making a difference in the wildland fire community. There is a lot of unspoken grief, emotional trauma, and stress that firefighters need help expressing.
More books, I have 10 planned right now. More speaking. Helping other people to reach their highest potential every day is one of my goals.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
