Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Tim is a writer based in Dallas, Texas. Originally from Savannah, Georgia, he served 11 years in the U.S. Navy before turning his attention to fiction. First published book Death of a Cigarette, follows a single unlit cigarette carried through World War II, blending historical realism with quiet lyricism. Tim is a lifelong admirer of greyhounds, a hobbyist woodcarver, and a patient fixer of cuckoo clocks. He believes some things are worth preserving, especially stories.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Latest published book Death of a Cigarette, follows a single unlit cigarette carried through World War II, blending historical realism with quiet lyricism. The book was inspired by a YouTube video on the D-Day landings at Omaha Beach and a Vape ad.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Tim’s writing explores memory, silence, and legacy, often through unexpected narrators and overlooked details. Tim likes to use everyday objects as the narrator of the stories.

Well free options of course. I am still learning how to not get scammed and to standout above everyone else. Reedsy has a ton of great information and resources for almost everything you need to write, publish and promote a book.
