Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have always had a fascination with the paranormal. I also have had several unique, amazing but unexplained experiences and so it comes naturally to me to write in this genre. Currently, I have five books available with a sixth one on it’s way to being published this October 2017. The genres I write in are: Paranormal, Erotic and Contemporary romance.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Nightfall. It was recently re-published after being out of print since October 23, 2016.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I am what they call a Pantser. I never have an outline for any of my books. Scenes will come to me at any time of the day and I write them down as I get them. Like a gigantic puzzle, I eventually end up putting all the puzzle pieces together and miraculously, like magic, a book is born. It’s really amazing when the book comes together and all from my sporadic thoughts and ideas.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The biggest one to influence what I write is Felicity Heaton. I admire her work and it got me thinking about writing about Angels in a different light from the traditional thoughts and ideas people have about Angels.
What are you working on now?
I am working on completing the Guardian League Series. Orion is the fifth and last book in the series and I am working on completing this one to send to my Publisher for consideration.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use Facebook quite a lot. I have a Fan Page, a review group and an amazing street team there.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
If you want to write a book, don’t let anything stand in your way but do know that the majority of your time will be spent on marketing and promotions and not writing. Writing encompasses maybe 10% of your time while marketing and getting yourself out there is the other 90%.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Write and they will come,” one author said to me in jest, but it’s true. Don’t worry about your sales. Just write.
What are you reading now?
I am reading a new author to me~ “Little Sister Next Door” by Riley Rollins.
What’s next for you as a writer?
After my Guardian League Series, I plan to go back to my wolf-shifter books. I also plan to write more stories for my 2nd short-story book which will encompass all shifters.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I would have to bring a book about Angels because I would need to have something positive that would give me hope that I will be able to get off the island.
