Author Bio:
As the world just recently become this beacon of acceptance of people being different and developing an anti-bullying culture would sometimes wonder how my life would be different had I not been traumatized by people in a world that puts such a high value on aesthetics especially when you have no control over some things. Yet had it not been for my sometimes-debilitating skin issues I don’t think I would have the same level of introspection, empathy, or patience. Yet it is those same skin issues that although made me different also made me more aware that things are not always what they appear to be on the surface and there is always more to the story. The question then becomes do you really want to know the story or are you just looking to judge it based on your own perceptions?
