Author Bio:
Ann Diment has spent most of her adult life not only trying to understand why she was burning out, but how to prevent it happening again. She now campaigns, trains, and coaches on creating resilience and smashing stigma about mental health and has written a book 'turning the tables on burnout' to share her tips.
Ann has over 20 years’ experience in managing workplace wellbeing, reaching the top of her profession as a chartered fellow (CFIOSH) and now gives back by mentoring women in Safety leadership roles and judging an international workplace safety award. In 2019 she took a ‘grown up gap year’ and went back to art college for a life-changing two years that lead to a whole new career as a ‘creative changemaker’
She is an accredited advanced EFT practitioner and resilience coach, drawing on her lived experience of mental health stigma and recovering from PTSD and depression caused by surviving multiple adverse childhood experiences. Ann offers transformational group and personal coaching at www.worksafeandwell.co.uk , as well as sustaining a socially engaged creative practice as an artist, poet, social justice campaigner and performer. Her work includes teaching personalised health conversation skills as an ambassador for the Personalised Care institute, and working with local authorities to reduce health inequalities by getting creative about how we look at health and wellbeing.
