About Two Hearts: A Christian Romance
Will friendship win out in the end, or will God lead them to something more?
Victoria Hendricks arrives at the Circle Bar T Ranch in the Hill Country of Texas with enthusiasm. It’s a beautiful country with its grassy pasture lands and rolling hills—and the ranch has a reputation for being a pleasant place to visit.
While she’s there, Tory hopes to do a little bit of relaxing—in addition to finding inspiration for her current marketing and advertising project. Instead, she discovers that the cabin that was supposed to be reserved for her was given to someone else. To make things even worse, the two weeks she’s at the ranch is scheduled as a marriage retreat called Two Hearts, and she’s the only single guest in attendance.
Then she meets Reed Montgomery, a tall, good-looking Texan, who just happens to be the owner of the Circle Bar T and the man in charge of solving Tory’s housing dilemma. He’s determined to make things right for Tory and even provides a special family cabin, so she has someplace to stay.
Even though Reed acts like a Christian, Tory senses right away that things aren’t right with Reed and his relationship with God. It also doesn’t take her long to find out Reed is a confirmed bachelor, with no plans to change his status. That’s fine with Tory, as she has also made the decision to stay single. And she knows it’s much more important that Reed get his life right with God than have a romantic relationship with her. Tory and Reed quickly become friends, but both wonder if God could have brought the two of them together for another reason. Will friendship win out in the end, or will God lead them to something more?
