Interview With Author val toledo
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hi I am a self published author and have currently written 3 books, they are all non fiction and share my story and my journey of personal growth, transformation and balance. They all present a practical path of self discovery, reaching higher awareness and consciousness as well as operating on a higher frequency bandwidth. The impact this has on ones life is illustrated in the books. They are a series that the reader travels and explores to reach the destination they choose.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Frequency Alchemy Diary. This was inspired through my many hours of alignment coaching as I hand held a person through their own journey, shedding their demons, mistaken beliefs and shadows to find themselves seeing the light, a way to go forward. However often they need to continue to be held and motivated on a daily basis , to re-integrate the practise shown the the upward spiral series. I realised that I couldn’t be there for them daily and so created the diary as their guide to use daily and throughout the year.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes I do, I write in very casual style which is like I am telling a story and speaking to you. I have kept the writing clear and simple so its available to all who read it. My edit is very loose as I want the story to be real a part of life as it is, rather than a stage of play play.
The philosophy of the upward spiral is deeply complex, however it’s been described in practical steps that help the reader integrate this into their own lives.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
All non fiction books on philosophy, spirituality, mental health etc….. three of my favourite authors are Gregg Braden, Carolyn Myss and Deepak Chopra. There are many others I have read, they are all in my bibliography.
What are you working on now?
I am now working on promoting all my books and knowledge to a wider audience, however, tucked away is a new book half written about ‘the sacredness of mother and child’ This is a large manuscript and begins with my story in searching for a child, and leads into the lack of protection that mothers and children have as well as the dark side of child trafficking.
It looks at east west and southern countries and the laws they have which do not offer any protection for children, I have case studies and stories as well as interviews of real life situations reflecting this injustice.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have loaded books on various platforms, as well as social marketing in different outlets. My
My 2 websites are valtoledo.com and valtoledo.graphy.com
https://www.facebook.com/ instagram – ValToledo777
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes, choose a topic you are passionate about, a story you just have to share or you feel you will burst, create a sacred space and time for yourself and write intuitively from the heart, forget the mind, the intellect and the idea of being perfect, just let go and see what creation forms within the pages you write.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Release expectations of others, focus on yourself and your own journey, and the rest will follow. Most importantly, believe in yourself and the value you have to offer.
What are you reading now?
I am deeply interested in mystical knowledge and am reading a few different books on that.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Reaching a larger audience and selling more books, so that they can share in this uplifting journey I’ve been on. I am also working on a new book, which speaks about a theme of mother and child and the sacredness of this journey. It tells my story of having a child much later in life as well as wanting to adopt one, the story takes readers on this journey with me.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Ancient secret of the flower of Life- Drunvalo Melchizedec
The Celestine Prophecy- James Redfield
Power vs Force- Dawkins, Richard
Living the filed- Lynne Mc Taggart.
and many more…..
