Author Bio:
Accompany Richard through several chapters of his life’s journey. After completing US Army flight school, he took on the trip to Vietnam, becoming a helicopter co-pilot and later an Aircraft Commander in the Vietnam War. As a “slick” or ‘Huey” pilot, he shows how he received on-the-job training in the art of helicopter warfare. He gives you his insight into some funny, some serious, and tragic war stories as “you are there” with him. As he was told on his first flight: “Sit down, shut up, and don’t touch a thing!” Just enjoy a ride like you have most likely never had before. Every word is true.
