About Wake Up to Reality
This short book which I have titled “Wake Up To Reality” is about personal development and growth and the need to deal with procrastination to ensure we achieve our divine potential in life. All of us have the potential to become great, but it is only those that take the necessary steps that actually become the “real champions”. I wrote this short book to tell everyone that it is never too late to take the right steps to achieve what the Creator of the Universe has created each and every one of us to become. There is nothing stopping you from becoming successful except “you” of course. This book is all about procrastination, which is the idea of leaving what should be done today till tomorrow, and hence that tomorrow never comes, because we are all in the habit, that there is still time. “Time” is the greatest asset that we all have – it is just 24 hours a day, regardless of where you live in the world. It is a clarion call to those who want to aspire to become successful and make an impact on one’s life, family and the community at large. We all have this habit of making resolutions upon resolutions year in and year out, but we often discard the resolutions a few months after and we continue in our old habits that we have refused to let go of. You need to deal with procrastination today and a negative inner mind to succeed in life. For anyone to succeed in life, you have to make the effort to move from the level that you are currently in, into the next level of greatness. If you choose not to do anything, you will remain in the lower-level cadre and the unfortunate thing is that if care is not taken, that individual will die in the same spot. It will be a disgrace that one can go through this world without making an impact. The greatest “riches and wealth” are in the graves and not any rich individual that has ever lived or is still alive, and whether we like it or not, we will all leave, when the owner of life comes calling. The experiences of most of us all through our lives, are to live and die without being noticed. To change this perspective, we must strive to develop the wings that will enable us to fly and achieve our given potential. Also, the spirit of “procrastination” has to be dealt with as this spirit can put an individual in the same spot for years. The ability to deal with procrastination lies within you and it is only that can help yourself and defeat this spirit if you want to achieve anything in life. I have been in this position for a very long time, until Andy Murray won the Wimbledon Open Tennis in July 2013. I have always been a great admirer of Andy and usually pains me each time, he failed to win in the final. This is a young man that has simply refused to give up and I know that we all went agog when he won the title in July 2013. In fact, the very 1st time that he won the “open grand slam” was in New York and the title of the “newspaper” where I read about his victory was titled “The King of New York – 2012”. His encouragement and perseverance have given me the courage to wake up to the clarion call, deal with procrastination and begin to make an impact in my life and in my community. Success is sweet after labour and success will only be achieved when you are prepared to pay the price, face the challenges in order to overcome them and become a real champion. Indeed “Andy” taught me a great lesson and can only pray that he will more in future.
“Andy Murray” did not know me but I had always been one of his admirers and always pray for him anytime he is on the tennis field. It usually pains me anytime he failed to win at the final match. He could have won more than “3 grand slams”, but his opponents were “too powerful”, for him. “UK” will not forget him.

Author Bio:
Esther has worked in so many establishments such as oil company, banking, the health care sector, schools, etc. She has always loved the “art of writing” and did not really discover it until much later in life when one of his lecturers at the University said to “her”, you are very good with writing, and I can see you making it in the publishing industry if you choose to troll that path. I never took it seriously until the year 2013 when “Andy Murray” won the Wimbledon Singles Tennis Champion, called “Grand Slam”. I had always liked, and adored Andy and it usually pains me to see him losing to the opponent more especially when it gets to the final. Andy first won the coveted trophy in the USA – New York and could remember one of the UK newspapers referred to him as “The King of the New York” after the victory over his opponent – Novak Djokovic, they have known each other since they were young and sometimes train together as my research revealed. I was so happy for him, and I started praying that he will repeat the same feat in the United Kingdom. In fact, before he won the grand slam in New York in 2012, he lost to Roger Federer in the final Wimbledon Open in early 2012, and he actually “cried” and could see myself shedding tears with him, and almost all the newspapers in the “UK” and even television houses captured the “crying” of Andy. It was after he won the coveted trophy in New York that he finally revealed his heartaches, and pains, when he said something along the line of “I had many dreams about winning the coveted trophy”, which, never materialised, but according to “him”, he refused to give up and he won at last.
It does not matter where we come from, the family we belong to or even the country we live in, the “Creator of the Universe”, whether you believe it or not, has deposited into each one of us the potential to make it in life. It is only those that discovered the potential be it early in life or later in life, the “key” here is that you succeeded in fulfilling your divine potential before you finally take a bow out of this world, which will happen to all of “us” and none of us knows that day, not even the minutes. I have heard from two people that the greatest wealth and riches are in the graveyards – meaning so many people have died without fulfilling the purpose for which they were created.
Andy succeeded at last and though might not win many trophies like his counterparts – Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic or even his female counterparts like Venus and Serena Williams, nevertheless, I really adored his courage, and I will forever remain grateful to him, though, he does not know me, and I don’t want him to. Notwithstanding, I took the 1st step at writing after his victory in 2013. Please let us all wake up from our slumber, and go back to our “Source”, to discover why He has created “you”. I’m also sure that “UK” will not and cannot forget “Andy Murray” in a hurry – he won the Wimbledon final after 76 years when “Fred Perry” won the coveted trophy.
Also, an inspiration to me is Susan Boyle who sang “I dream a dream” on the popular British Got Talents. Susan shot into fame as soon as she sang the song and really admired her courage coming out to sing even in her late 40s. She defied all the odds despite her failures at getting recognised based on her story. It does not matter how old you are in as much as you decide to leave your comfort zone to get discovered.
My other interest area is blogging, selling online and much more.
