Interview With Author Wellness Bloom Journals
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am passionate about wellness, organization, and self-improvement. I create tools that help people build better habits, stay healthy, and manage their daily routines with ease. So far, I have published four books that focus on healthy eating, tracking habits, and planning meals
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Daily Meal Planner: Track Meals, Water Intake & Grocery Notes – 100-Day Wellness Log. It was inspired by the need to simplify healthy living and help people stay consistent with their meals, water intake, and grocery shopping in one easy-to-use journal
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I prefer designing my books in a calm and quiet environment, often with soft instrumental music. I also love testing layout ideas by printing drafts and reviewing them on paper before finalizing.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Books like Atomic Habits by James Clear and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey have greatly inspired me. They emphasize the power of daily routines and incremental change—principles that shape my work
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on a new printable planner for kids that combines learning with creativity. It’s designed to help young learners build positive habits early on.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use a mix of free promotional websites like Awesomegang, as well as social media platforms like Pinterest and Instagram. These platforms help me reach a wider audience interested in self-improvement and wellness
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Start simple and stay consistent. Focus on creating valuable content for a specific audience and don’t wait for perfection. Publishing your first book is a huge step—learn as you go, and always be willing to improve
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Start before you’re ready.” This advice reminds me that progress matters more than perfection, especially when publishing books or launching new ideas
What are you reading now?
I’m currently reading Deep Work by Cal Newport—an insightful book about maximizing focus and productivity in a distracted world.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m planning to expand my collection of guided journals, including fitness trackers for teens and wellness planners for parents. I’m also exploring coloring books with motivational quotes for kids
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
1. Atomic Habits by James Clear
2. Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
3. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
4. A blank journal to write my own story
