Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a self-published author, who refuses to give up. I still submit to agents, but the rejections can be discouraging if you let them be. Instead, I have chosen to put my works out there to the general public on Kindle. I have written over 8 books, ranging from poetry to Wicca to science fiction.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Hemingway’s Cats was inspired by sone time I spent working in the Florida Keys in 2015, when I visited Hemingway’s estate on Key West. I grew up in South Florida and had childhood memories of weekend vacations in the Keys with my parents. Key West is a colorful spot, and dear to my heart. The descendants of Hemingway’s 6-toed cats still roam the gardens of the estate, and are cared for by volunteers and staff. These spunky felines inspired me to write a humorous story that is the title of this collection of stories. I hope you enjoy them !
Currently, I am researching and writing a new sci-fi novel and I hope to complete it in 2018.
