Gary Burroughs started writing plot lines for stories while still at school. After trying unsuccessfully to win at life he gave up and wrote a book. Guided in this endeavour by reading Agatha Christie, PG Wodehouse, Raymond Chandler, Wilbur Smith and by watching the films of Alfred Hitchcock and Quentin Tarrantino, While You Were Out is like none of them, and reads all the better for it. He lives in Stratford upon Avon, England with a dental nurse girlfriend and two cats and knows he’s getting older because his hair’s gone grey. And he needs to sit down to put his socks on. He is currently writing the sequel to While You Were Out.
