About Wicked Fun
Jane Hawkins bakes cookies for the church fundraiser, compliments your new curtains, and knows exactly how long it takes to dissolve a body in lye.
She’s your friendly neighborhood widow — charming, chatty, and terrifyingly efficient when it comes to murder. Twenty years ago, Jane was the East Coast’s most prolific serial killer. These days, she’s still living on Cape Cod, trading corpses for cozy mysteries and bloodstains for book tours. Retirement has been… fine. A little dull. Very beige.
But when a cocky true crime podcaster starts connecting the dots on her past, and a mysterious copycat starts reenacting her signature kills, Jane realizes she has a problem. Several, actually.
Now she’s stuck playing mentor to a man she should probably murder, tracking a killer who’s clearly a fan but lacks finesse, and trying very hard not to fall back into old habits.
Spoiler: She’s not trying that hard.
The bodies are piling up. The questions are getting uncomfortable. And Jane’s golden years are looking increasingly… red.

Author Bio:
Dave Pasquantonio Weird, sarcastic, and thrilling — the first two words describe Dave, and all three describe his fiction.
Dave is a freelance editor who’s helped over a hundred authors get their work out into the world. As a freelance writer, he’s written hundreds of newspaper features, columns, and articles. He also works behind the scenes at Sterling & Stone to help get our stories ready for publication.
When he has time to write, he loves twisty mysteries, serial killers, quirky speculative tales, and forcing his characters to triumph with wordplay instead of swordplay.
He lives just south of Boston, Massachusetts, where he grudgingly puts up with winter while listening to 80s music and dreaming up bizarre situations to drop his characters in. (Yes, you can end a sentence with a preposition!)
