What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I am still testing those waters. it seems to be a matter of try this one, record results, try another one.. and so on and so forth. I am hoping Awesome gang beats all of them hands down!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write because you love it. do not be impatient!!! i mean that dont be impatient.. i am not kidding DO NOT GET IMPATIENT. invest your money in your books. do skimp on editors or cover artist. hint not all the expensive ones are as good as some less expensive ones. A great stock cover is better than a mediocre custom cover and costs less. not everyone who claims to be a good editor is. you have to share a common world view, they have to understand voice. overnight successes usually are the result of several years of agony and the product of individuals who will not QUIT!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
the head covers for the heart.
What are you reading now?
i read several books a time. both fiction and non fiction. fiction just finshed the dresden files for the third time, also reading man of war series, and non fiction, how to be an amazon advertising expert…
What’s next for you as a writer?
1. develop a system that works for marketing my books, that i use everytime
2. keep writing force myself to write every day even when i am busy in the blackberry fields and the beehives.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
the Bible, large empty notebooks to write in, how to survive by yourself on a deserted island,
and last but not least my kindel fire with a thousand books in it.
