What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
STUPID ENGLISH: Due Knot Weight Two Bye This Book
I was just thinking about how odd some of the rules in English were and how many words are hard to use due to sounding the same or the strange way they are spelled.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I break the standard rule of writing so many words per day. I tend to write in bursts of several hours at various times. My book title and subtitle usually come to me first. I make an outline with chapter names and then just write the chapters as they come to me.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
In Non-Fiction:
Finance
Dave Ramsey ( I have read everything put out by him and most of his staff)
David Chilton – “The Wealthy Barber”
In Fiction:
I like the writing style of three local authors: Joseph Bird, Andy Spradling, and Traci Dolan-Priestly.
I still have my copy of “Combat! The Counterattack” purchased in 1964.
What are you working on now?
I am researching information to use in a book about how music/songs influenced me while growing up.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Only Amazon so far. I am working on several ideas for marketing my books.

Write the book. Stop thinking about it.
Also, try to find a small group to meet with for encouragement and to help edit your writing.
