Author Bio:
From an early age, Torgeir Blok immersed himself in the gory worlds of scary movies and literature. This set forth a love for storytelling which led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in writing and a career as a journalist.
Still, his tilt towards the macabre never disappeared and his journalistic work often probed into off-beat fandoms and bizarre communities, with notable articles on underground cinema, real-life superheroes, and snuff movies.
He channeled this love for the fantastical and peculiar into his debut novel, Worn Skin, which delves deep into the secret world of tattoos and body modification.
Alongside this novel, he has penned award-winning short stories, as well as scripts for TV shows and feature films. His writing is known for its gloomy allure, blending delicious darkness with eerie strangeness and geysers of blood.
