Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
After working thirteen years in the medical field, I became very ill. Due to my illness, I had to have both of my hips totally replaced. I was told by my doctors I could never physically return back to work. So I started doing everything that I could to keep my mind off not being able to return to work. I was crafting, sewing, painting, drawing, etc. One day I picked up my Nook and started downloading books. One of my passions has always been reading and drawing. I read eleven books in three weeks. One day I was outside watching my husband, father-in-law and my husbands uncle riding on lawnmowers cutting the grass when it hit me. I can be a writer, I know I can right a book. I immediately went back inside the house, grabbed my samsung android phone, clicked on google play, found WriterPlus app, downloaded and starting typing. In a weeks time, I had finished my first short story book. I shared the news with may family and close friends. All of them congratulated me. I was told by them, I never let anything or anyone get in my way. I always find a way to keep myself busy and enjoy it while doing it. I told them I have nothing but time on my hands. I am that person that has a story and I am going to share it in my short story books.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My first book, “The Roommate,” was inspired by the psychiatrist I use to work for unbalanced patients and my unbalanced niece. My short story book is to let my audience know that there are such people that can be very unbalanced if they don’t take their prescribed medications, keep their psychiatric appointments as well as their psychotherapy appointments.
My second book, “Eastgate Haunting,” was inspired by the house I grew up in as a kid. It’s is in the process of being proofread
