Featured Listing – Our Featured Listing promotion cost is $10 for each book. You will see the option for this on the bottom of the Submit Your Book page. We want to help as many authors as possible and we know Indy authors have a limited budget.  Our book promotion guarantees that your book will be listed on our site.

Your book will also go out to our newsletters. Last count on our newsletter list was around 43,000 readers. While it isn’t the biggest list in the world it is dedicated readers that are looking for new books. Your book will be featured on our homepage for 2 days and also be placed on our Featured books page. Your book will also be shared in our social media channels:

Twitter Account – @ourawesomegang As of  February 2017 we have about 16,273 followers. That number increases daily so by the time you read this it will be more. We have been added to peoples Twitter list 698 times. We must be doing something right.

    I submitted my book interview thing without the paid option but would like to add it now. How can I do it? It seems as if I have to re-do the whole author interview for it, and I would rather not, especially since you already have it (and there’s no need for duplicates, I surmise). Can you please tell me what information you need from me and how to purchase the $10 promotion option without re-doing the author submission interview?

    I just filled out the form and paid via PayPal for my book Deadly Straits to be a featured freebie. I didn’t see anywhere to leave a comment, but this is just a head’s up to let you know the book will only be free between the dates of October 27-30, 2014 (inclusive). Your form didn’t specific whether placement during those dates was guaranteed, but if that isn’t possible, obviously the book shouldn’t run as a ‘freebie’ and I assume my money will be refunded. Let me know.

This book won’t have any reviews at the time I need the promotion, but I have published 10 books so far and have an average rating of 4.5 stars on amazon.     Yes you can submit to us. We are not one of those stuffy sites that have restrictions on how many reviews a book has. All books have to start somewhere. Some authors use our service for new books to try and get reviews. When I started Awesomegang it was because my new book couldn’t get on any of those sites because it had 0 reviews. I set out to change that.

    Your book was accepted on our site. It just wasn’t included in the newsletter. Our paid books get priority in the newsletter and the rest of the books get pulled by random. You can resubmit and choose a date you wish to be featured.

    We don’t have a place for the promo price because the listing stays on the site for about a year. The price of the books change many times over that time. That is why we don’t have a place to put a price.

    I hope this isn’t too late, but my book – Bloodgifted – is featured for Sat. 13th, and it’s had a price change, from $2.99 to $3.99. Barnes & Noble haven’t registered the change yet so currently Amazon is still price matching. That might change in the next 24hrs.

  85. Short answer would be yes. Most of the readers of this site are looking for ebooks. Unless your print book is deeply discounted it wouldn’t be worth being featured here.

    We can bump up your book to a featured book with no problem. I will send you an email on that. As for the interview you can fill out another one at any time but it isn’t required.

  92. I had two problems with your submission form (whether they were flaws in the form, or user error on my part, I’m not sure). I think my submission went through, but I’m not sure it will “stick.”

    First, while the instructions said if you left the promotion date blank, you would send out the submission once a spot became available, there was no way to actually leave the promotion date blank. I set it for tomorrow (heh) but it’s a new release announcement, not a discount; I don’t have any promotion date to worry about.

    Second, and potentially more troubling, you tell us to put the book title in the “Instructions for Merchant” section when making the paypal payment. However, there was no “instructions for merchant” section in the Paypal form that I could find, or in fact any space to put the title or anything else, for that matter. I submitted the payment, but I’m not sure the information you need is on it.

    Thanks for the input. I see I need to adjust the submission date part. It was put in a long time ago before we made the form choose a date. The second one isn’t an issue as we get instructions from merchant on almost every submission.

    Most of our readers are looking for discounted books. Most readers love free books. You may also be looking at ones that were on sale or free and have changed price. Many authors make their book free for only 24 hours. Hope that helps and thanks for the question.

  120. Yes you can. We actually have authors submit every 30 days or so. The only thing we don’t like is authors submitting every 7 days or less as it is less effective.

    I’m thinking about promotion through your site, but my book is a little different. Small Town Kid is a memoir written in free verse poetry.

    It’s hard to identify a genre that makes it obvious who the book is for (memoir, short story and, of course, poetry).

  125. That is a unique niche for sure. I am not sure if our readers are into that niche. If you want to submit the book and see that is ok by me. Submit it as a free submission and I will bump it up manually for free. I am curious myself. BTW I see you did an author interview already. That’s great.
