About RIDERS ON THE STORM by Debra Hoffmann
When rock drummer Snake Diablo comes home from touring, after a traumatic breakup with his girlfriend, he wants a little peace, and maybe to catch up with his fellow bandmates. But when he hears strange noises at his door he finds not the coyote he’s been feeding but badly wounded Bassist Eddie Sawyer.
Knowing that there is something strange afoot, Snake calls Grim St. Claire, but not receiving an answer, calls Grim’s new ‘bloodchild’ Kenny.
Kenny responds to Snake’s summons and arrives to find his idol, Eddie, in grave condition. As he enacts his powers to save him, Kenny finds himself in a situation that will change his immortal view of life forever. Falling in love with guitarist Mick Moss’s wife, Angie, Kenny must find his power and way through danger in an immortal world he didn’t know existed. Will Grim be able to answer the questions that put them in danger? Kenny soon realizes that he must find his way through the maze of danger and keep the others safe, even as he realizes Grim’s withholding of truth may well cost them dearly.
