About MysticMagic Land by Janeen O’Kerry
There isn’t much to do in the small west Texas town of Goat Horn, except work in the shops, motels, and restaurants that serve the patrons of the beloved theme park known as MysticMagic Land.
For five friends – Roxie, Eddie, Westie, Allie, and Stoney – the huge park is their one respite from a boring life in Goat Horn, until they discover there is more to MysticMagic Land than they ever knew. Sometimes, it seems, ghosts and creatures are not just special effects.
At first, there’s nothing cooler than having real ghosts at your favorite theme park. But if those ghosts are causing enough trouble to close the place down permanently, the five decide they have to do something about it… even when they’ve never really stepped up to face anything before.
MysticMagic Land is a light and humorous urban fantasy novella. It is Book One in the upcoming Haunted Theme Park series and is suitable for readers of all ages. No part of this book was created using artificial intelligence (AI) software of any kind.

About Sperm & Eggs
In ‘Sperm & Eggs – Attraction’, we emphasise how human sperm and eggs need to know what they’re doing. We contrast the human reasoning approach with animal instinct in bringing the two together. How we, the small litter strategists need to work out before consummation the best genetic mixture we can muster for our offspring.
Men are guided by the desires of their sperm. While women are restricted to producing one offspring at a time, saddled with a long gestation period during which she has to eat gherkins and coal for her tea. As thinking animals, we have time to overcome our confusion and deduce how our leaky juvenile genitals can be used reproductively.
Cue sex hormones and how an obsession with sex (and particularly among male scaffolders) enables sperm to stay on task.
We consider then what attracts women to men and vice versa, the egg strategy of attracting sperm-carriers using the art of titillation. The lure too, as evidenced in making up the lips to mimic the front bottom. And not forgetting suggestiveness, how men are intrigued by women eating bananas and how men licking the tops of yoghurt cartons could be of equal interest to ladies. In Switzerland, a man might impress a lady at dinner only to find himself sexually blacklisted for displaying a lack of finesse and sensitivity over pudding.
We look at how humans constantly redefine appeal with changes in hair fashion in contrast to the evergreen slicked-back look of the chimpanzee and the never-changing coiffeur of the poodle. Of course, as profound thinkers, scope for getting things wrong is inevitable. We explore misconceptions of what we believe is attractive. In Medieval Europe, for instance, when men wore a codpiece rammed down the front of their tights – pouches designed to either create the impression that the wearer had a pressing engagement, else signal that he might be hoping for one. And cryptic messages older, ‘off-peak’ humans put out attempting to cling onto their youth. Older women painting their eyebrows in the style of cameo Vulcans in Star Trek. The signal they send out to men analogous to that received by a motorist on his car radio while driving under a motorway bridge in gale force winds. While, older men, positioned at the bar upon a pub barstool, are still able to entice ladies passing by on their way back from the toilets with the simple but seductive salutation, “Allo, darlin’!’. Oftentimes saying and doing no more, bringing the seduction to a close, flushed with success and content to draw admiring looks from his stool compatriots.
This is the first book of three in the Sperm & Eggs series, titled ‘Sperm & Eggs – Attraction’. The other two books are ‘Sperm & Eggs – Interaction’ and ‘Sperm & Eggs – Relationships’.

About Doctor Misery’s City of Music
Can laughter save the mortal soul? Perhaps it can as a beauty-obsessed mad scientist becomes the cultural and political leader of a nation. Deceived by his pupil Doctor Praterius, Doctor Mizzieri and Gelsomina are driven again to creating new realities facilitated by transformative music. Great innovations are on display; AI-created propaganda such as the Mexican Robin Hood La Carambada, musically induced blockchains and introducing Crotox, a cryptocurrency based on the value of skin rejuvenators.
Musicians develop personal leitmotifs as the navigate mundane and extraordinary worlds, from the forested hills of New York to the Italian mountaintop city of Ravello, to a neighborhood in Venice where the feeble-minded are barred from technologies created after 1980, and finally on a river journey through a South American rainforest, a world that becomes entirely transformed into music. Will music enable higher consciousness or bring about submission through mesmerizations? Will it strengthen the conscience or assist Praterius in fulfilling her corrupt ambitions? Engaged in battle with dissonant harmonies and immoral regimes, these musicians will attempt to reconcile the mystifying paradoxes of human nature, proving that music can indeed save the mortal soul.

About Misadventures of a Cryptid Hunter
I didn’t sign up for this. I never wanted to be a cryptid hunter. I didn’t even believe in cryptids. I always thought they were the stuff of bedtime stories to keep kids quiet and in bed, scared out of their wits, when mom and dad wanted some quality time together.
I was perfectly happy in my boring job as a park ranger. (Not really) But fate had other ideas. When I came face to face with a Bigfoot… everything changed.
Some people are born to greatness, others have it thrust upon them. Then there are still others who trip, fall down a hill backwards, and land face first in a big stinky, steaming, pile of greatness.
I was the latter.
This is the story of that steaming pile that was my life as a cryptid hunter.

About Soup of the Universe: An Interdimensional Adventure by Val Hull
Soup of the Universe is a thrilling interdimensional adventure that will take you to the furthest reaches of space-time.
Depending on how you look at it, interdimensional travel is either a fantastic way of experiencing the wonders of the Universe, or a rather nasty fancy that merely pokes holes in the fabric of reality.
When these two outlooks collide within the Hub – an artificial pocket of space where every conceivable world intersects – an explosive confrontation is all but inevitable.
In one corner there’s Marcus, an eccentric scholar who made his name by exploring the distant corners of space-time and facing unspeakable horrors armed with nothing but a bag of notes, together with any allies he can talk into joining his cause. And boy, can he talk.
And in the other we have an advanced race of avian humanoids who dispatch a team of highly-trained operatives specializing in interdimensional sabotage to the Hub. Once there, they intend to save the Universe by blowing up everyone they deem a threat.
Demons, constructs, sentient buildings, undead comedians, and even a regiment of US marines all play a part in their plan to destroy the Hub and Marcus’s subsequent attempts to foil it.

About The Hidden Pull
Suffocating from boredom and bureaucracy in a low-level corporate job, he was starved for adventure. By fate or happenstance, a hidden door led him into a secret underground room the likes of which he had never imagined possible. Surrounded by cascading waterfalls of reflected light and oddly sentient plant beings, he knew he’d found his new obsession. There was just one problem: it was all against the law.
What follows is a decade-long coming of age journey in an obscure and forbidden industry: sometimes breathtaking, at times heartbreaking, occasionally profitable, and always with the mandatory sense of impending legal doom. As he struggles to support his medical patients, haggle prices with shady types and barter with loan sharks—all the while flying under the radar—he is forced to confront an uncomfortable truth: this wasn’t actually what he wanted to do with his life, after all.
Ultimately over a hundred grand in debt, he’d need to fight to salvage friendships, take foolish risks just to keep the lights on, and wrestle with doubts and impostor syndrome to finally discover the real reasons behind this bizarre career choice. As with his illicit harvests, he’d once again have to start from scratch, find his voice, and take another kind of risk: cultivating his first words.
Set as a true crime memoir, The Hidden Pull is full of rebellious adventure, humor, and youthful self-sabotage; an entertaining and sincere account of growing up and learning the painfully necessary lessons of finding and following one’s true path.
